What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain complex Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision resources across numerous cloud accounts.
• Optimize CI/CD automation pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Create automation scripts using Python, Bash, and JavaScript to streamline operational workflows.
• Build and maintain infrastructure supporting Generative AI applications on domain-specific datasets.
• Collaborate with security experts to implement compliant cloud architectures.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (US citizen or legal permanent resident) authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Location: Must reside within 100 miles of Alexandria, VA or Philadelphia, PA.
• 6+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years focused on Cloud Technologies.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or JavaScript and experience with Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, networking, and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk).

Nice to have

• Technical certifications (AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect/DevOps, CKA).
• Experience with Generative AI technologies and containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience in regulated contexts such as NIST 800-53, PCI, or HIPAA.
• Familiarity with geospatial data processing and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data lakehouses like Databricks or Snowflake.
