What you will do

• Provide best-of-breed technical support for MongoDB customers with demanding deployments and business needs.
• Resolve complex issues regarding schema design, performance tuning, query optimization, and index tuning.
• Manage and optimize backup solutions, replica set, and sharding topologies.
• Lead the creation of technical support content and professional blogging.
• Collaborate across departments to have a direct impact on product strategy.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of MongoDB configuration, best practices, and engine selection.
• Demonstrable experience administering Linux-based systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Must be based in the Americas.
• English: Proficiency required for working with international customers.
• Completion of MongoDB University courses.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Backup for MongoDB or MongoDB Atlas.
• Basic or higher level Postgres DBA troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MySQL.
