Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, Canada (2-3 days onsite required)

Salary: C$112,200 – C$143,600 per year

What you will do

• Animate stylized characters and creatures with high-level acting and musical timing aligned with the creative vision.
• Own complex shots and key sequences from initial blocking through to final animation.
• Collaborate with Lead Animators and Animation Supervisors to ensure stylistic consistency.
• Mentor and train new animators and provide technical assistance to show supervisors.
• Participate in dailies to provide feedback and develop aesthetic solutions.
• Maintain consistent productivity and quality standards to meet theatrical deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Feature Animation experience (or 7+ years in lieu of education).
• College-level diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles, acting, and compositional design.
• Expert proficiency with Maya and knowledge of chaining/constraint techniques.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Vancouver, Canada.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working on stylized animation or musical features.
• Proficiency with Linux.
