What you will do

• Design and develop reusable, well-structured data models and semantic layers to support analytics use cases.
• Build and maintain automated ELT pipelines using SQL and dbt within cloud environments like Snowflake.
• Implement testing frameworks, including data validation, schema tests, and lineage to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain datasets and semantic models specifically for Power BI consumption.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data assets.
• Optimize query performance and identify opportunities to automate processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL and dimensional/semantic data modelling.
• Proficiency with modern data transformation tooling (dbt strongly preferred).
• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and Power BI semantic models.
• Solid understanding of data quality, testing, and governance practices.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Hove, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or scripting for automation.
• Exposure to version control (Git) and collaborative development practices.
