What you will do

• Lead the design and development of highly scalable services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
• Drive the adoption of event-driven architectures using Kafka to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Architect and optimize PostgreSQL database systems to support critical financial workflows and data integrity.
• Apply domain-driven design principles to model complex financial domains and build maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Solutions Engineering, and Business Development to expand the global payment platform.
• Mentor engineers and champion best practices in distributed systems, reliability, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production environments.
• Strong background in designing and operating large-scale microservices and distributed systems.
• Proven experience building event-driven systems using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to influence architecture across teams.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
