Salary: $175,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Translate complex customer problems into simple, performant technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Django, Python, Postgres, and Redis.
• Integrate and optimize LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) for document processing and AI features.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to rapidly iterate on solutions.
• Manage production ownership, including on-call rotations and debugging live issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience with Django.
• Strong fundamentals in database optimization, caching, and system design.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and debugging model behavior.
• Experience with AWS deployment practices and highly scalable SaaS products.
• Must be based in San Francisco to support the hybrid work schedule.
