What you will do

  • Process full-cycle payroll for various employee groups including administrative staff, teachers, and support personnel.
  • Prepare and submit statutory payroll tax remittances, benefit payments, and monthly pension reports.
  • Execute year-end payroll and pension processing, including T4/T4A production and audit report reconciliation.
  • Manage staffing data, salary changes, and FTE updates in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Oversee financial records for the Catholic Education Foundation, including donations and bank reconciliations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for insurance-related inquiries and incident reporting.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources.
  • PMCP or CPM designation is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in payroll and benefit administration.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, employment standards, and pension reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic database management.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
