What you will do
- Process full-cycle payroll for various employee groups including administrative staff, teachers, and support personnel.
- Prepare and submit statutory payroll tax remittances, benefit payments, and monthly pension reports.
- Execute year-end payroll and pension processing, including T4/T4A production and audit report reconciliation.
- Manage staffing data, salary changes, and FTE updates in coordination with Human Resources.
- Oversee financial records for the Catholic Education Foundation, including donations and bank reconciliations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for insurance-related inquiries and incident reporting.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources.
- PMCP or CPM designation is required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in payroll and benefit administration.
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, employment standards, and pension reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic database management.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
