What you will do

• Develop and assess short and long-term (up to 2050) economic projections for international agricultural sub-sectors including arable crops, livestock, and vegetables/fruits.
• Coordinate and optimize input collection and evaluation for F&A sector market vulnerability analyses.
• Collaborate with sector experts to update economic outlooks for the bank's active regions.
• Develop publications and presentations in coordination with RaboResearch analysts.
• Establish and improve agricultural indicators to translate quantitative outcomes into actionable insights.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in economics or econometrics with proven quantitative and forecasting skills.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in macroeconomic research (or PhD + 2 years).
• Strong affinity with agriculture and food systems dynamics.
• Fluent English proficiency in both writing and speaking.
• Proven ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and manage projects.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in the Dutch language.
