What you will do

• Bridge the gap between Generative AI capabilities and the strategic needs of Portfolio Managers to drive the development of transformative chatbots.
• Design and implement Agentic AI-powered workflows that continuously analyze market news, security data, SEC filings, and emails to drive investment decisions.
• Analyze daily workflows of analysts and portfolio managers to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and iterate on AI designs based on stakeholder feedback.
• Promote and advertise new AI tools across the department to maximize adoption and reach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in programming (Python, Java, or C/C++) and scripting (Bash or PowerShell).
• 2+ years of experience at a hedge fund or buy-side investment firm engaged in Equities trading.
• 2+ years of experience developing Generative AI systems, specifically creating Agentic AI workflows.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, including Bedrock, Kendra, OpenSearch, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
• Must be based in New York, NY to accommodate the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with process-diagramming software such as Miro, LucidChart, or Draw.io.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Datadog, Grafana, or ELK.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible business communications via PowerPoint and promotional materials.
