What you will do

• Design and implement foundational GenAI services including vector search, prompt tuning, and agent orchestration.
• Build infrastructure for autonomous AI agents with support for reasoning, memory persistence, and collaboration.
• Develop standardized APIs/SDKs to enable product teams to deploy and monitor Generative AI workloads.
• Implement RAG at scale, including ingestion pipelines, embedding policies, and hybrid search.
• Establish cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, MLflow, and Terraform on AWS.
• Integrate compliance-by-design (HIPAA, GDPR) and safety guardrails into AI pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software/ML engineering, with 5+ years focusing on ML engineering at scale.
• Expertise in production-grade ML/LLM systems on AWS (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Spark).
• Proven experience with GenAI, RAG, prompt orchestration, and agentic systems (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of distributed architectures and cloud-native development.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Experience with compliance-first engineering in healthcare or biotech preferred.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Experience in pharma, diagnostics, or other heavily regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and bias detection.
