Senior Data Architect (Finance)

TL;DR

Senior Data Architect (Data Architecture/Finance): Designing and implementing high-level solution architectures for data contexts with an accent on data governance, data modeling, and security. Focus on guiding clients through complex data transformations and integrating modern data stacks across cloud platforms.

Location: Remote (Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Poland) or Hybrid (various cities in Europe and LATAM). Must be willing to travel for business 3-7 times per year.

What you will do

• Drive communication with business stakeholders to define requirements and goals.
• Design technical architectures and justify architectural decisions for development teams.
• Lead the full implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering to production go-live.
• Guide clients through complex data transformation initiatives.
• Support the sales and pre-sales lifecycle, including solution evaluation and assessment.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in data architecture, consulting, or engineering leadership.
• Proven experience in the Finance domain (asset management, insurance, or capital markets).
• Strong expertise in Data Governance, Data Management, DataOps, and modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficient English language skills.

• Experience in professional services or consulting organizations.
• Expertise in sales engineering and developing value propositions for Data & Analytics.
