Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the scoping and delivery of user research across GDS development stages (discovery, alpha, beta).
- Mentor and coach junior researchers to support their professional growth and career development.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and clients to provide strategic advisory support.
- Ensure research adheres to GDPR, MRS, and GDS service standards.
- Facilitate team analysis sessions to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Support business development by contributing to bids and identifying new opportunities.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and eligible for SC clearance.
- Extensive experience leading user research in agile environments.
- Proficiency in mixed research methodologies including usability testing, contextual enquiry, and survey development.
- Strong background in people management and coaching within a research discipline.
- Experience working with GDS service standards and government development stages.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at a strategic and commercial level.

- Experience with GDS assessments.
- Background in supporting business development and bid writing.
