What you will do

• Lead the scoping and delivery of user research across GDS development stages (discovery, alpha, beta).
• Mentor and coach junior researchers to support their professional growth and career development.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and clients to provide strategic advisory support.
• Ensure research adheres to GDPR, MRS, and GDS service standards.
• Facilitate team analysis sessions to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Support business development by contributing to bids and identifying new opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and eligible for SC clearance.
• Extensive experience leading user research in agile environments.
• Proficiency in mixed research methodologies including usability testing, contextual enquiry, and survey development.
• Strong background in people management and coaching within a research discipline.
• Experience working with GDS service standards and government development stages.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at a strategic and commercial level.
