TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack/Fintech): Building and optimizing a modern, cloud-first architecture for the PARis platform with an accent on migrating legacy WinForms/Citrix systems to Azure. Focus on designing web-based systems, developing scalable APIs, and implementing data-driven applications for the investment data space.
Location: Hybrid. Primarily remote with occasional office attendance in Pittsburgh, Boston, Toronto, or Montreal. An in-person interview is required during the hiring process.

What you will do
- Develop new web-based systems from the ground up as part of a major platform transformation.
- Build backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications on a modern Azure stack.
- Influence design decisions, overall architecture, and engineering ways of working.
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to deliver high-impact products.
- Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated deployment.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C# and backend development.
- Proven track record of building web applications using React or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS also considered).
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices such as CI/CD.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of delivery.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or investment data (equities, fixed income).
- Background in data-driven systems, analytics, or dashboards.
- Exposure to AI integrations or LLM-based applications.
- Knowledge of microservices or cloud-native design.
