What you will do

• Drive the architectural vision for hirify.global AI services in collaboration with R&D, Product, and Customer organizations.
• Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable, reliable, and performant AI-driven cloud services.
• Partner with global stakeholders across AI Research and Cloud Infrastructure to define the technical roadmap.
• Leverage expertise in cloud-native development to improve system performance and developer experience.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and ICs, fostering a culture of excellence and ownership within the organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software development experience with deep knowledge of backend applications and scalable cloud services.
• Hands-on expertise in Golang and software architecture for fault-tolerant systems (Kubernetes, Argo CD, Terraform).
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude) and coaching teams in their usage.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-domain technical initiatives end-to-end in ambiguous environments.
• English: C1+ proficiency required for representing the domain to senior leadership.
• Location: Must be based in Bulgaria for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience productionizing AI/ML systems and building proofs of concept (POCs) from scratch.
• Deep understanding of Agentic AI, Context Engineering, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Contributions to open-source projects in distributed systems, data infrastructure, or AI tooling.
• Familiarity with the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
