What you will do

• Lead commercial input for pre-construction activities, including bids, tenders, and early contractor involvement.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial modelling for complex schemes.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities during the early project stages.
• Prepare pricing strategies, tender submissions, and review contract terms.
• Contribute to value engineering and optioneering to maximize project outcomes.
• Collaborate with supply chains and manage relationships with clients and consultants.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS, preferably in pre-construction or bid environments.
• Track record of delivering complex infrastructure tenders valued at £20m+.
• Experience in social infrastructure sectors such as healthcare, education, or residential schemes.
• Deep understanding of procurement routes and contracts (NEC/JCT).
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Must be based in or able to work in the South of England.
