Claims Consultant (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Claims Consultant (Infrastructure): Providing contractual and claims advice for major construction and energy projects with an accent on forensic examination and analysis of project data. Focus on preparing formal quantum and commercial claims reports and negotiating successful claims.

Location: London office and project sites; Must be able to travel across the UK and be away from home Monday to Friday

What you will do

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the contract.
• Perform analysis of facts and evidence, including records and notices.
• Provide clients with honest appraisals of their contractual and commercial positions.
• Advise clients on claims strategy and recommend ways to achieve specific claim objectives.
• Prepare, negotiate, and present quantum, delay, and disruption claims.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or similar (2:1 or higher preferred).
• Minimum 5-10 years of major infrastructure project experience.
• Extensive knowledge of main standard forms of contract, including NEC and JCT.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in producing delay and disruption claims.
• Experience in dispute avoidance and resolution.

Nice to have

• Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Legal degree in Construction Law.
