What you will do

• Conduct market research in the AI ecosystem to identify and evaluate priority acquisition targets.
• Perform technical due diligence by reviewing codebases, architectures, and technology stacks of target companies.
• Assess the technical capabilities, team structures, and engineering roadmaps of potential targets.
• Collaborate with Tech leads to define strategic acquisition categories and criteria.
• Partner with the CEO, CTO, and senior leadership to align M&A strategy with business objectives.
• Pitch evaluated targets to Product and Engineering leads based on technical findings.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering from a top engineering school.
• Deep understanding of algorithms underlying machine learning and LLMs.
• Knowledge of AI product implementation involving APIs, backend, and frontend interfaces.
• Ability to read Python and familiarity with agents frameworks (e.g., Langchain) and vector databases.
• Strong interest in M&A, venture capital, and the AI startup landscape.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Paris.
