What you will do

• Own vehicle control development for motion and body system domains.
• Lead the development of control strategies and algorithms to meet performance attributes and functional safety (SFMEA) requirements.
• Create calibration tools and tuning guides to enable vehicle attribute performance optimization.
• Utilize MIL, SIL, and HIL testing environments for rapid integration and verification of control and firmware.
• Manage algorithm release and control maturity plans to ensure road release conditions are met.
• Mentor and coach system integration engineers in agile development and domain expertise.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in controls or electrical engineering (focus on modern control theory, MPC, LQR).
• At least 20 years of systems design experience, including 10+ years in automotive control systems.
• Expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for modeling control logic in rapid prototype and production ECU environments.
• Deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics, closed-loop control theory, and real-time embedded control design.
• Proficiency with automotive serial protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and tools like Vector CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and CI/CD automated test pipelines.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C/C++ for debugging embedded code.
• Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic standards (UDS).
