Training Program Manager (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and implement training programs for USV operations, mission planning, and system maintenance.
• Establish a Training Management Plan (TMP) and develop proficiency standards and learning outcomes.
• Deliver classroom, laboratory, and field-based instruction on autonomous systems and safety procedures.
• Apply ISD methodologies (ADDIE or SAM) to create and validate training products and evaluation frameworks.
• Serve as the primary training point of contact for government customers and align deliverables with SOWs and CDRLs.
• Ensure all training activities comply with maritime regulations, OSHA, and DoD safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, Military Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in training program development within a defense or maritime context.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training for complex military operational platforms.
• Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (ITAR/EAR requirement).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Prior U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard experience in maritime patrol or surface warfare.
• Experience operating or training on USVs, UAVs, or other autonomous systems.
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Master Instructor qualification.
• PMP or PMI-ACP program management certification.
