Location: Hybrid (Warren, Michigan) - Expected to report to the office three times per week

What you will do

• Own the design development and delivery of in-vehicle digital experiences across assigned product areas.
• Create visual design concepts, mood boards, UI assets, and production-ready graphics for complex interfaces.
• Translate user needs, brand direction, and technical constraints into elegant, intuitive design solutions.
• Lead design reviews, set visual quality standards, and present recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across design and engineering teams to ensure visual consistency across multiple screens.
• Mentor junior team members and serve as a visual craft leader within the studio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience designing digital UIs for automotive, embedded, or mobile products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual craft and thoughtful UX problem solving.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools including Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience leading design work from initial concept through to production.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Warren, Michigan

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in automotive or complex digital interface design.
• Experience contributing to brand-forward digital experiences and design systems.
• Skills in prototyping, motion design, animation, or interaction storytelling.
• Familiarity with the product development lifecycle for embedded systems.
