What you will do

• Perform high-throughput interpretation and identification of LCMS and/or GCMS extractable data.
• Identify all chemical peaks above reporting limits to support toxicological safety and risk assessments.
• Utilize specialized software including Compound Discoverer, Trace Finder, Unknowns Analysis, and Mass Hunter.
• Ensure all chemical characterizations align with ISO 10993-18 requirements for FDA approval.
• Collaborate with analytical teams to process and analyze device extracts in various solvents.

Requirements

• MS degree in Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of industry experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven expertise in LCMS and/or GCMS data interpretation and compound identification.
• Strong familiarity with laboratory techniques, method development, and validation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work primarily on-site in St. Louis, MO.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thermo LCMS or Agilent GCMS data interpretation.
• Proficiency with Compound Discoverer (LCMS) or Unknown Analysis (GCMS) software.
• Experience working with high-resolution data for unknown compound identification.
