Field Service Technician

What you will do

• Perform onsite commissioning, start-up, and functional testing for new equipment at customer facilities.
• Execute preventative maintenance and complex repairs, such as changing bearings and mechanical seals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting via phone, email, and video calls to resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for customers on equipment use and documentation.
• Develop and revise technical procedures for the service department.
• Manage travel logistics and complete expense reports for domestic and international trips.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one) are required.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily in the US and Canada.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability or relevant technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools and electrical troubleshooting equipment.
