TL;DR

Chief of Staff to the CMO (AI/Marketing): Operating partner for the CMO focused on running the marketing operating system and scaling the business with an accent on AI orchestration, executive performance metrics, and strategic execution. Focus on building AI agent stacks to automate strategic deliverables and aligning marketing OKRs with corporate priorities.

Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ (5 days per week)

What you will do

  • Partner with the CMO to manage marketing strategy and OKRs, overseeing weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review rhythms.
  • Design and maintain the executive performance system, including ROI dashboards and functional KPIs.
  • Develop and orchestrate an AI operating system using agents and workflows to produce strategic memos, board materials, and analysis.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with Finance.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between Sales, Product, Finance, CX, and IT to support revenue growth.
  • Lead talent strategy, including hiring loops and performance calibration for the senior marketing team.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in strategy consulting, banking, as a founder, or as a seasoned operator.
  • AI-native proficiency: Ability to build agents and use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor on a daily basis.
  • Strong data fluency and experience transforming data into actionable executive dashboards.
  • Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous environments and provide critical feedback to senior leadership.
  • Location: Must be based in Scottsdale, AZ for 100% onsite work.
