What you will do

• Build and scale the core infrastructure of hirify.global’s all-in-one finance platform.
• Design and implement distributed systems and event-driven architectures to handle high load and low latency.
• Optimize backend performance using Python and async programming.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate across multiple partners and stakeholders within a complex, regulated financial environment.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Python, including async programming and performance optimization.
• Proven experience building scalable web applications and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and the trade-offs between throughput and latency.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Professional background in highly technical sectors such as AI, security, fintech, or blockchain.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Understanding of financial payment networks (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT) or accounting software.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
