TL;DR

Senior Systems Engineer (PrinterLogic): Leading enterprise-wide Multi-Functional Device (MFD) operations and infrastructure for the U.S. Coast Guard with an accent on server administration, cybersecurity compliance, and technical leadership. Focus on managing PrinterLogic environments, automating system configurations, and ensuring operational readiness of mission-critical infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, VA. Active Secret Clearance required.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead the MFD lifecycle and drive enterprise-wide printing and imaging operations.
  • Manage and optimize PrinterLogic infrastructure, servers, and virtualized environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and daily guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Ensure systems meet USCG and federal cybersecurity requirements and security controls.
  • Automate configurations using scripting to improve reliability and repeatability.
  • Develop technical documentation, engineering artifacts, and deployment guides.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • 9+ years of overall experience, with 5-7 years in people management and technical project management.
  • Direct experience administering and scaling PrinterLogic Server environments.
  • Proficiency with DNS, VDI, SAN, VLAN, firewalls, Azure, AWS, and virtualization.
  • Strong experience securing enterprise systems according to USCG, DoD, and DHS policies.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) or low-code governance models.
  • Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure modernization and IT governance.
