Salary: $305,000 - $460,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end model launch planning and execution for Claude Code, defining readiness criteria and coordinating between research and engineering.
• Design and implement agentic evaluations (evals) to measure real-world coding performance.
• Drive the overall evaluation roadmap for the engineering team.
• Collaborate with researchers to define target behaviors and influence model development using evidence from real usage.
• Analyze user transcripts and feedback to identify capability gaps and transform research progress into shipped features.
• Synthesize signals from internal users, external developers, and competitive benchmarks into clear priorities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (San Francisco, New York, or Seattle).
• Engineering background with 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience driving product direction as an engineer.
• Proven experience personally building agentic evaluations (e.g., SWE-bench-style task suites).
• Deep grasp of AI concepts, including model behavior, prompt engineering, and evaluation methodology.
• Experience launching products or capabilities within ambiguous, research-adjacent environments.
• Active daily user of Claude Code with the ability to articulate specific behavioral improvements.
