What you will do
- Own end-to-end model launch planning and execution for Claude Code, defining readiness criteria and coordinating between research and engineering.
- Design and implement agentic evaluations (evals) to measure real-world coding performance.
- Drive the overall evaluation roadmap for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with researchers to define target behaviors and influence model development using evidence from real usage.
- Analyze user transcripts and feedback to identify capability gaps and transform research progress into shipped features.
- Synthesize signals from internal users, external developers, and competitive benchmarks into clear priorities.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US (San Francisco, New York, or Seattle).
- Engineering background with 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience driving product direction as an engineer.
- Proven experience personally building agentic evaluations (e.g., SWE-bench-style task suites).
- Deep grasp of AI concepts, including model behavior, prompt engineering, and evaluation methodology.
- Experience launching products or capabilities within ambiguous, research-adjacent environments.
- Active daily user of Claude Code with the ability to articulate specific behavioral improvements.
