Founding DevRel Lead (AI): Leading the developer relations strategy to drive awareness and adoption of real-time voice AI models with an accent on technical content creation, community growth, and integration examples. Focus on building reference architectures and sample apps to turn technical edge into developer trust.

Location: Must be based in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate to Mountain View, California (Hybrid/On-site a few days a week)

Salary: $220,000 - $290,000 + bonus + equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end developer relations strategy to grow awareness and adoption of Inworld.
• Build and ship integration examples, reference architectures, and sample apps using TTS, STT, and Realtime APIs.
• Create technical content including tutorials, blog posts, video walkthroughs, and conference talks.
• Represent Inworld as a public figure at hackathons, events, and within online developer communities.
• Collaborate with Product and GTM teams to synthesize developer feedback and optimize technical surfaces.
• Define and track community engagement and time-to-first-integration metrics.

Requirements

• Must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate to Mountain View, CA.
• 5+ years of experience in developer relations or developer advocacy.
• Strong hands-on coding ability to ship real integration code.
• Hands-on experience with AI native development, including LLM workflows, speech, and streaming.
• Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs.
• Exceptional technical communication skills for tutorials and public speaking.

Nice to have

• Experience with voice AI, TTS, STT, or real-time audio.
• Prior experience in a founding DevRel capacity at a high-growth startup.
• Active presence in developer communities, open source contributions, or a personal following/newsletter.
