Salary: $165,000 – $242,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable security solutions for public cloud environments using guardrails and industry-leading practices.
• Define and maintain security baseline requirements, policies, and standards for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead the design and automation of security controls, including IAM, detection, monitoring, and data protection.
• Utilize everything-as-code tools like Terraform to automate toil and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and internal security teams to embed security into cloud architectures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python for software development.
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, green card holder, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions in the public cloud security space.
• Experience operationalizing CSPM tooling such as Wiz.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and secure design principles.
• Knowledge and experience with modern container orchestration technologies.
