TL;DR
Customer Support Engineer (Networking): Providing technical partnership and support for customers using NetBox and Orb to manage complex networks with an accent on network automation, troubleshooting, and product adoption. Focus on diagnosing complex technical issues across installations and integrations and bridging the gap between customer needs and product development.
Location: Remote (US, CST or MST time zones)
Salary: $110K – $140K + Equity & Bonus

What you will do
- Act as a technical anchor for customers, participating in architecture reviews and planning sessions.
- Translate customer network management goals into actionable NetBox workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving installation, configuration, integrations, and plugins.
- Manage the full post-sale technical lifecycle, including onboarding and deployment health.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface actionable customer feedback and feature requests.
- Develop runbooks and troubleshooting guides to reduce repeat escalations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of NetBox, DCIM, IPAM, and core networking concepts.
- Proficiency with Docker (Compose), SQL (PostgreSQL), and Linux command line.
- Experience with Python, REST APIs, and version control (GitHub or GitLab).
- Must be based in the US (CST or MST time zones).
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes (kubectl), Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of SSO flows (OIDC, OAuth, SAML) and async messaging (Kafka, MQTT, AMQP, AWS SNS).
- Familiarity with Django and advanced network automation workflows.
- Linux performance and network troubleshooting skills (CPU, memory, disk, firewall).
