What you will do

• Own reconciliation across payment processors, customer billing, and operator payouts to ensure audit-ready records.
• Manage the full lifecycle of payment disputes and chargebacks, including evidence gathering and root cause analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of invoicing, proration, and renewals for usage- and consumption-based GPU rental agreements.
• Serve as the operational bridge between Product/Engineering and Finance to translate billing gaps into automation requirements.
• Execute dunning and failed-payment recovery processes to reduce involuntary churn.
• Define and report key operational metrics such as DSO, chargeback rates, and reconciliation break aging.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payment, billing, or finance operations.
• Hands-on experience managing disputes, chargebacks, and direct customer issue resolution.
• Familiarity with payment processors (PSPs) and usage-based/metered billing concepts.
• Strong data and spreadsheet skills; ability to query data (SQL is a plus).
• Experience creating operational controls and playbooks from scratch.

Nice to have

• Experience with two-sided marketplaces or multi-party payment flows.
• Background in cloud, compute, infrastructure, or SaaS consumption billing models.
• Exposure to KYC, sanctions screening, and fraud risk management.
• Experience as an early operations hire in a scaling environment.
