What you will do

• Monitor and manage payment risks, including chargebacks, fraud patterns, and failed payments across various markets and PSPs.
• Execute and analyze payment routing experiments to improve acceptance rates and stability while managing associated risks.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues such as double charges, disputes, and PSP incidents in coordination with Engineering.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Customer Support to reduce preventable chargebacks and payment complaints.
• Maintain detailed documentation of routing logic, active experiments, and operational escalation flows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payments, billing operations, payment risk, or fintech operations.
• Deep understanding of online card payments, refunds, disputes, and chargeback processes.
• Experience working with PSPs, payment gateways, acquirers, or payment orchestrators.
• Strong data analysis skills to identify patterns in payment failures and risk spikes.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and clear written communication skills.
• Must be based in Spain, Serbia, Portugal, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, or Poland
