What you will do

  • Develop in vitro and in vivo display workflows to determine the binding, stability, and function of antibodies and other biologics.
  • Implement display workflows to generate novel high-dimensional datasets that advance scientific super intelligence.
  • Partner with protein design and automation teams to create highly precise and complex protein design libraries.
  • Utilize MACS and FACS for the selection of biologics with desired properties.
  • Design and execute platforms for automated, high-throughput experimentation and data-rich workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to document systems and refine best practices in autonomous science.

Requirements

  • MSc in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology with 1+ year of experience, or BSc with 3+ years, in antibody or peptide development using display-based methods.
  • Expertise in pooled display assays and antibody selection using yeast or in vitro (mRNA/ribosome/cDNA) display techniques.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology: PCR, NGS library construction, in vitro transcription/translation, and bead-based selections.
  • Experience with flow cytometry and sorting yeast using FACS.
  • Experience with the analysis of NGS sequencing data supporting display campaigns.
  • Must be based in Cambridge, MA USA

Nice to have

  • Experience operating Illumina sequencers.
  • Experience with laboratory automation.
  • Experience with single cell or in situ sequencing.
