CIS Solution Architect (SAP S/4HANA & Salesforce)

TL;DR

CIS Solution Architect (SAP S/4HANA & Salesforce): Designing and governing end-to-end solution architectures for a large-scale CIS modernization initiative replacing legacy billing platforms with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud with an accent on hybrid cloud environments and SAP Clean Core principles. Focus on designing scalable integration patterns across SAP, Salesforce, and AWS to optimize customer and billing operations.

Location: Hybrid (Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO). Onsite Tuesday through Thursday, Remote Monday and Friday.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain end-to-end solution architectures supporting customer, billing, payment, and collection processes.
• Design complex solutions spanning SAP S/4HANA Utilities, Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, and AWS.
• Lead architecture reviews and enforce standards through Architecture Review Boards.
• Define API and event-driven integration patterns using SAP BTP and Integration Suite.
• Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise strategy and promote SAP Clean Core principles to minimize custom development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities (IS-U).
• 2+ years of experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.
• 4+ years of experience designing solutions within AWS environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud.
• Utility industry domain expertise.
• SAP Certified Solution Architect or other SAP Technology certifications.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or LeanIX.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
