What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale distributed systems for the Kiro Autonomous Agent.
• Develop reliable and performant infrastructure using advanced compute and networking technologies.
• Implement fault-tolerant, high-availability systems meeting strict scalability and security requirements.
• Provision infrastructure using declarative tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Establish observability through monitoring, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and lead design and architecture initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with at least one major programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture for scalable and reliable systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Proficiency in cloud compute (AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPC, and service mesh architectures.
