Salary: $20.67 - $24.71 per hour

What you will do

• Extract information from customer-supplied 3D models and 2D prints using proprietary software to develop precise quotes.
• Provide design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback to customers to improve product quality and experience.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure the most efficient sheet metal manufacturing processes are utilized.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of standard materials, hardware, plating, powder coating, and welding requirements.
• Consult with outside vendors to ensure project deliverables are met within specified timelines.
• Respond rapidly to customer change requests and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee (ITAR compliance); temporary visas are not eligible.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Associate’s Degree in CAD, Drafting, or Design, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to interpret 3D solid models, 2D prints, and GD&T (Preferred).
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including standing and lifting up to 70 pounds.
