What you will do

• Design and develop new features across hirify.global's entire product range to support the trading lifecycle.
• Analyze real-time network data firehoses to provide solutions for consumers of market data.
• Build and optimize high-availability and high-performance systems for real-time and historical data.
• Implement normalised real-time market data feeds and monitor VoIP call quality.
• Collaborate with a world-leading engineering team to bring technology into new markets and deployment models.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional development experience.
• Expert proficiency in C++ development under Linux.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, and makefiles.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and multi-threaded application development.
• Knowledge of IP networking and Linux-based tools such as gdb and valgrind.

Nice to have

• Ability to solve complex field issues using very limited data.
• Experience implementing efficient yet maintainable code that is easily worked on by others.
• Proven ability to justify new architectural patterns and trade-offs.
