Salary: 308,000 zł - 428,000 zł per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Card Acquisition team, leading engineers through ambiguous problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to define technical constraints and risk trade-offs.
• Design and implement elegant, simple, and extensible backend system components.
• Manage team operations, including monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and alerting.
• Foster a culture of quality by setting code review and design standards and mentoring other engineers.
• Participate in the required on-call rotation to ensure system availability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to create technical plans for significant feature delivery with high-quality, maintainable code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
• Must be based in Poland.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
