What you will do

• Partner with producers and craft directors to ensure project delivery is on time, to spec, and within budget.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, and Experience Design to assign tasks and manage project scope.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Manage direct reports in client and gameplay engineering, providing career guidance and conducting performance reviews.
• Identify project risks and lead mitigation strategies across assigned features and systems.
• Manage the hiring process by defining roles, interviewing candidates, and delivering offers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience in a software development environment.
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports and driving their professional growth.
• 2+ years of experience managing workloads specifically for engineers.
• Deep understanding of game development, interdisciplinary dependencies, and associated risks.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, specifically Agile and Waterfall.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering management.
• Experience with video game live service development.
