What you will do

• Own features end-to-end from design and implementation to deployment and operation using agentic workflows.
• Build and operate backend services and the underlying cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain deployment paths, networking, and load balancing across the platform layer.
• Design AI-first systems and developer workflows, embedding LLM tooling and automation into architecture.
• Partner with the Platform Lead to identify engineering pain points and ship compounding improvements.
• Utilize AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate prototyping and code review.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in large organizations or early-stage startups.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, including infrastructure and networking.
• Working knowledge of Go, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi), and Prometheus.
• Daily fluency with AI coding agents and LLM tooling with the ability to verify outputs.
• Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or multi-cloud production systems.
• Background in developer tooling, internal platforms, or developer experience at scale.
• Experience with Unity or the broader gaming ecosystem.
