What you will do

• Act as the technical lead for the Exposure Management team, driving architecture and system design practices.
• Own the migration plan and execution to move legacy ASM functionality onto the new platform.
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend services, ensuring seamless interoperability and resolving complex legacy behavior.
• Drive technical alignment across shared systems to improve coordination, scalability, and engineering effectiveness.
• Mentor the engineering team and foster a culture of technical excellence and high engineering standards.
• Leverage AI and LLM technologies to improve engineering efficiency and enhance platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Golang.
• Strong distributed systems background, focusing on horizontally scalable, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, gRPC/REST, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of internet protocols, including WHOIS, DNS record types, and Certificate SANs.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

• Passion for integrating AI and LLM technologies into engineering workflows.
• Experience leading product migrations or platform consolidations.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures using GCP PubSub.
• Experience with maintainable software practices, including CI, linters, and code complexity checks.
