What you will do

• Design and build foundational backend infrastructure including authentication, permissions, feature flagging, and notifications.
• Develop and evolve the internal product platform to accelerate development across multiple product lines.
• Lead the implementation of enterprise-facing features like secure multi-party collaboration and robust admin controls.
• Ensure high standards for security, privacy, and reliability when handling sensitive legal data.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and design teams to deliver enterprise-ready experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend-focused software engineering experience on platform or product teams.
• Strong proficiency in distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, and scalable service architectures.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS patterns such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Track record of shipping intuitive, high-impact user-facing features.
• Valid Canadian work authorization is required.
