What you will do

• Greet patients, verify identification, and manage the clinic waiting area.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization, and collect patient fees including copays and deductibles.
• Perform daily accounting, handle fee collection, and generate weekly financial reports.
• Manage admissions and discharges in the Central Registry and coordinate physician appointments.
• Handle general clerical duties, maintain office supplies, and perform related administrative errands.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and engage in community outreach activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as an office clerk with basic math, accounting, and cash handling skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, or collections (healthcare experience preferred).
• Proficiency in basic computer word processing and typical office equipment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Kansas City, MO.
