What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers.
• Define strategy, build roadmaps, and establish measurable goals for the Ads Data Infra team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and infrastructure partners to modernize data processing.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs for major architectural decisions.
• Lead complex technical initiatives and ensure high availability of mission-critical systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and able to work onsite 4+ days per week.
• 8+ years of software development experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees).
• 1+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
• Strong background in building high-availability, mission-critical systems.
• Technical understanding of modern data processing, storage, and querying solutions like Flink, BigQuery, or Dataflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems or data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, or managed solutions like Databricks.
• Experience with AI Agent development and MCP protocol.
• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, multi-stakeholder environments.
