Systems Engineer (Linux)

Location: Must be based in the Philippines and able to work 9:00pm–5:00am PHT (EST business hours).

Salary: PHP 90,000–140,000 per month.

What you will do

• Support and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments, including virtualization and patching.
• Assist with production Kubernetes cluster operations, monitoring, and containerized deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to improve operational processes.
• Troubleshoot networking issues including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Participate in incident response, change management, and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to document processes and share knowledge.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Systems Administration or Production Operations.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and scripting (Python).
• Must be able to work overnight hours (9:00pm–5:00am PHT) to align with EST business operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office environment.

• Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes.
