TL;DR

People Data Design Lead: Shaping people data strategy to support HR transformation with an accent on data modeling, reporting frameworks, and governance. Focus on aligning data design with business objectives, driving complex data-led decisions, and facilitating stakeholder engagement across HR and technical teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Hove, UK (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Define and shape people data requirements to support HR change initiatives.
  • Design data models, reporting frameworks, and solutions aligned with enterprise principles.
  • Analyze complex datasets to inform decision-making and design choices.
  • Partner with HR, change, and technical teams to align data design with business processes.
  • Identify data risks, gaps, and dependencies while driving mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and gather requirements across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering data or transformation initiatives, ideally within HR or people data environments.
  • Strong understanding of data design, data governance, and reporting principles.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting ideas and challenging constructively.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with tools such as Excel or Oracle reporting platforms.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, or machine learning in a data context.
