TL;DR

Location: South Africa (preferred). Extensive travel (up to 70%) across Africa is required.

What you will do

  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive feed mill audits, identifying efficiency gaps and recommending necessary spare and wear parts.
  • Support installation, start-up, and commissioning of feed mill equipment and plants.
  • Identify and drive sales opportunities for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and automation solutions.
  • Develop process flow sheets and technical layouts to support CAPEX project proposals.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in feed milling (pelleting, extrusion) field services or operation & maintenance.
  • Several years of experience in service across mechanical, electrical, and process optimization.
  • English: Mandatory proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% across Africa, including remote and challenging locations.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in African languages such as Afrikaans, Swahili, Arabic, or French.
  • Additional basic process skills gained from the feed or process industry.
