What you will do

• Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes at national, regional, and continental levels.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards across all operating countries in Africa.
• Act as the primary interface with regulators, government authorities, and industry bodies.
• Provide regulatory guidance, risk assessment, and reporting to senior management.
• Support market entry, expansion, and strategic initiatives through regulatory due diligence.
• Build external relationships and internal regulatory capability through training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Agronomy, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in agrochemical regulatory affairs, compliance, and policy.
• Significant professional experience within African markets.
• Proven ability to manage multi-country regulatory environments and engage with government authorities.
• Strong strategic capability in long-term portfolio and market planning.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification such as an LLB, MBA, or Master’s in Regulatory Affairs or International Relations.
