TL;DR

Financial Audit Analyst (Federal Government): Conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and auditing within the federal logistics or facilities space with an accent on asset valuation and financial reporting. Focus on delivering client services, managing property valuations, and ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards.

Location: Hybrid in Falls Church, VA (Onsite 3 days per week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

• Perform quantitative and qualitative financial analysis within the federal logistics or facilities space.
• Apply asset and property valuation methodologies to ensure accurate reporting.
• Analyze and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver outstanding client services and achieve common goals.
• Support client needs through occasional travel, estimated at 10%.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, logistics, or a business discipline.
• Alternatively, 2 years of federal financial management or auditing experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite 3 days per week in Falls Church, VA.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.

Nice to have

• DoD FM Certification Level 1, 2, or 3.
• Experience with data analytics and inventory management.
• Knowledge of general equipment (GE) and financial statements.
• Experience with asset/property valuation.
