What you will do

• Develop and implement high-quality backend software in Java for tactical communications.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with a focus on concurrency, partitioning, and replication.
• Identify and solve complex technical problems with high precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with a specialist team to deliver software for vehicles and dismounted commanders.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge of best practices and modern Java technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and backend Java technologies.
• Must have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years for security clearance.
• Must be able to present a clean criminal record.
• Strong communicative skills in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of distributed systems and Radio Networks.
• Experience with Android development.
• Network Development skills (TCP/UDP sockets).
• Experience with SQLite.
