Senior Professional Officer (Neonatal)

TL;DR

Senior Professional Officer (Neonatal): Delivering Baby Friendly assessments and training for neonatal services with an accent on accreditation and infant feeding training. Focus on undertaking online and in-person assessments across the UK and supporting the National Infant Feeding Network.

Location: Hybrid (London based). Must be able to travel for in-person assessments across the UK.

Salary: FTE £45,000 per annum

What you will do

• Conduct online and in-person Baby Friendly assessments for services seeking accreditation across the UK.
• Facilitate and deliver infant feeding training to health professionals.
• Contribute to the effective delivery, development, and ongoing evolution of the Baby Friendly programme.
• Provide professional support to the National Infant Feeding Network.
• Lead the implementation of hirify.global Baby Friendly Initiative standards within relevant public services.

Requirements

• Experienced practitioner with a strong track record of implementing hirify.global Baby Friendly Initiative standards in UK public services.
• Proven experience delivering infant feeding training to health professionals.
• Current experience in neonatal services is highly encouraged and welcomed.
• Ability to travel to in-person assessments throughout the UK.
